The Duprees

The Duprees are a doo-wop vocal group from Jersey City, New Jersey, formed in the early 1960s by students at William L. Dickinson High School, including lead singer Joey Canzano (later Joey Vann). They put together a polished, harmony-driven sound rooted in early 1960s pop and doo-wop, landing several top-ten singles before the British Invasion reshaped the American charts.
