The Dubliners

The Dubliners were an Irish folk band formed in Dublin in 1962, built around the distinctive voices of Ronnie Drew and Luke Kelly alongside fellow founding members Barney McKenna and Ciarán Bourke, with John Sheahan joining in 1964. They played traditional Irish folk songs, street ballads, and instrumentals, and became one of the most popular acts on the folk scenes in Dublin and London. Over a fifty-year career they went through many lineup changes but kept a loyal following across Ireland, Britain, and well beyond.
