Telek

George Telek, commonly known as Telek, is a musician and singer from Papua New Guinea, born in 1959 near Kokopo in East New Britain Province. He sings in his native Kuanua language and in Tok Pisin, and his music draws heavily on Tolai vocal traditions, often featuring rich three-part harmonies. He is one of the few Papua New Guinean artists to build a genuine international following.
