Scissor Sisters

Scissor Sisters are an American pop rock band formed in New York City in 2000, built around vocalist Jake Shears and multi-instrumentalist Babydaddy. They came up through the city's queer underground and electroclash scene, pulling from 1970s glam rock, disco, synth-pop, and classic arena rock to make music that is flamboyant and hook-driven. The group became especially popular in the UK, where their debut album went to number one.
