Saxon

Saxon are a heavy metal band from Barnsley, England, formed in the mid-1970s. They were a leading force in the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) and put eight albums into the UK Top 40 during the 1980s, reaching audiences across Europe, North America, Japan, and South America. Fronted throughout by singer Biff Byford, they have kept touring and recording for decades and have sold tens of millions of records worldwide.
