Pentangle

Pentangle were a British folk group formed in London in the late 1960s, built around guitarists Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, vocalist Jacqui McShee, double bassist Danny Thompson, and drummer Terry Cox. Their music drew from traditional folk ballads, blues, and jazz, often mixing those threads together in a single piece. They resisted easy categorization, and that range set them apart from most of their contemporaries in the British folk revival.
