John Michael Montgomery

John Michael Montgomery is a country singer from Danville, Kentucky, born in 1965. He grew up playing music with his family and worked the honky-tonk circuit around Lexington before signing with Atlantic Records in 1991. He placed more than 30 singles on the Billboard country charts, including seven that reached number one, and built his reputation on warm, straightforward vocals and radio-friendly country balladry.
