Duran Duran

Duran Duran formed in Birmingham, England in 1978, built around the core duo of keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor. The band became one of the defining acts of the 1980s new wave and synth-pop movement, pairing glossy electronic production with rock energy and a flair for visual style. They went on to record across several decades, adjusting their sound over time while keeping a pop sensibility at the center.
